American Girl Place Cafe at The Grove

So during our birthday extravaganza & personal shopping experience at the American Girl Place, the Jet-Set Moms joined Jet-Set Tot and Jet-Set BFF for a birthday lunch at the American Girl Place Cafe. As always, it was a special fête inside the beautifully decorated black and white dining room with pink decor and accent colors. Accompanied by their dolls, the girls were given the VIP treatment with a special corner booth and booster seats for the their lunch dates. Since it was a birthday celebration, they also received crowns and goodie bags with American Girl swag to enjoy.

For starters we dined on Warm Welcome cinnamon buns and our first course was a family-style platter of cheese, fruit kabobs, fresh veggies, and the most delicious pretzel bread with honey mustard dipping sauce. It was a great way to kick off lunch and I can’t stress enough how much everyone loved the pretzel balls! What a great treat.

Jet-Set Tot once again despite my urging to try something different, ordered the Tic-Tac-Toe Pizza. I actually veered out of my comfort zone and tried the Salmon with Dill Sauce with twice baked potatoes. Wow, and I am so glad I did! It was fresh and delicious. In the past I have personally ordered Baked Chicken Tenders, and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, but this is now my favorite.

For dessert, not only were served Sweet Surprises of chocolate mousse flowerpot, vanilla cake, and a sugar cookie, but the Jet-Set Tots were serenaded by the servers and presented with a beautiful birthday cake.

Thank you American Girl Place Cafe for making Jet-Set Tot’s birthday such a special one!

Hugs & passports,

– Nicole
