BOA Steakhouse : Fine Dining with Jet-Set Family

Sometimes Red Robin and Cheesecake Factory just won’t cut it. Simply because you have Jet-Set Tots does not mean you have to sacrifice all of your fine dining experiences and head to a restaurant filled with fried foods and pizzas. Today, Jet-Set Mom & Jet-Set Tot became ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ and enjoyed a nice afternoon meal at BOA Steakhouse in Santa Monica.

While I would love to say that Lil’ Miss C. has a refined palate, once we sit down to order, it’s safe to say what she is going to nosh on is anyone’s guess. It is uncommon for fine dining restaurants to offer children’s menus so I’ve made it a practice to check out the selection online prior to arriving. Remember, just because you do not see anything you think your Jet-Set Tot might enjoy on the entrée list, doesn’t mean it is a lost cause! Pay special attention to the side-orders because they can prove to be your best friend. The macaroni & cheese is usually baked from scratch, a healthy portion for your mini-me to enjoy, and not to mention DELISH! It was the best comfort food for today’s cold California winter’s day considering the view of the Pacific was beautiful, but cloudy.
