M Street Kitchen Santa Monica

When we find ourselves visiting Tot’s favorite Jet-Set Aunt, our go to restaurant in Santa Monica is always M Street Kitchen on Main. The vibe, the decor, the service, the menu and one particular spirit and dessert leave us coming back for more, and more, and more.

I only wish I had some more photographs to share with you on the dishes we dined on, but it can get dark inside at night, so shooting our plates with an iPhone proved to be a little difficult. I will tell you though, everything on the menu is fantastic.

Now let’s discuss that spirit and dessert…

Tot particularly loves that it when we head to M Street Kitchen because she knows there is a huge chance her whole meal will be the warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream and fudge. Yes, even I once in awhile strive for Mom of the Year and feed my child a dessert for dinner. OK, it RARELY happens, but it has. Feel free to judge, but I think it’s fun!

And she is not the only one going a little crazy at M Street Kitchen. Mom finally found  a cocktail! That’s right. The mom that regularly orders iced-tea with all my meals found a drink that I love. M Street Kitchen’s very own Peach Blossom made with St. Germain. It is DREAMY. Comes in your own little carafe, with a side of ice and lemon, I’m telling you – it is wonderful. Especially after a long warm beach day.
